OVER 10 YEARS CONNECTING SCHOLARS…

Puentes is a United States-Mexico consortium of universities aiming to promote multidisciplinary research on issues of importance to the relationship between the U.S. and Mexico. Puentes mission is focused on building knowledge, foster international research collaboration and to communicate research findings to leaders and policy makers. Through these interactions Puentes aims to enhance the connectivity between our two nations’ institutions of higher education and lay the foundation for long-term, effective dialogue.

Visiting Scholar Application

The Visiting Scholar Program enables scholars at member institutions to collaborate on research projects together by providing the opportunity for scholars to visit institutions and develop their work together.

Grant Writing Awards

The Grant writing awards is intended to facilitate grant-writing efforts for both public and private funding sources.

Seminars and Research Grants

Research Grants and Seminars Scholarship aims to foster binational research initiatives on pressing U.S.-Mexico issues for which experts can share their expertise and findings through organizing seminars, workshops, confereces and joint publications.

Undergrad International Research Experience

The Undergrad International Research Experience is conceived as a research project hosted and funded by the Puentes Consortium, aiming to contribute and enhance research skills and collaboration among groups of undergraduate students and professors from Puentes member Universities.
